Article Synopsis – A new study suggests that a significant decrease in cloud cover over the past 20 years is contributing to increased ice melt in Greenland. The researchers found that even just a one per cent decrease in cloud cover is equal to 27 gigatons of extra ice melt on the Greenland ice sheet.
