National Trust Historic for Preservation – Special Issue: Rising Sea Level

Most people involved with preseving our national landmarks and cultural history are very familiar with the National Trust for Historic Preservation. www.preservationnation.org the dominant organization for professionals and everyday supporters.

I got a good orientation to this wonderful community when I was invited to give a keynote talk at their annual conference “Past Forward” last December in Savannah, Georgia.

Among their communication and education efforts is a professional quarterly, the Forum Journal.

The latest issue was published this week, as shown at the left, with the title:

High Water and High Stakes: Cultural Resources and Climate Change.

I was honored to write the lead article:

Climate Change and Rising Sea Level: Implications for Historic Preservation.
