Article Synopsis – Exceptionally high tides, called king tides, combined with sea level rise caused catastrophic flooding along the Eastern Seaboard this week. Communities from Florida to Maine experienced “water levels a foot or more above normal” resulting in flooded homes, streets, and businesses.
