‘Extraordinary’: Almost 1/4 of West Antarctic Ice is Now ‘Unstable’ – USA Today

Article Synopsis – According to a new study, “almost one-quarter of the ice in the West Antarctic ice sheet has been classified as unstable”.  The warming ocean has been melting the ice sheet from underneath.
