Article Synopsis – The World Bank has pledged to invest $200bn from 2021-25 to help countries adapt to climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The organization is hoping their bold action inspires others in the finance sector to do the same. Jim Yong Kim, the president of the World Bank, said, “We are pushing ourselves to do more and go faster on climate and we call on the global community to do the same.
