Article Synopsis – Higher temperatures, humidity and increased rainfall due to climate change are helping to expand the habitat for mosquitoes that carry the West Nile Virus. These conditions not only increase the range of the mosquitoes, they also stimulate them to feed and reproduce more frequently, and may allow them to become infectious sooner after acquiring West Nile Virus.
