Article Synopsis – The New York Magazine article “The Uninhabitable Earth” is already the most read in the magazine’s history and quite controversial for such a ‘doomsday’ scenario. As a result they have taken the unusual step to provide an online annotated version elaborating on the sources and making a few tiny corrections. While there is little directly about sea level rise, the explanation of an unstoppable warming planet makes it very relevant. For many, this is already a seminal article.
