Article Synopsis – For coastal residents in Delaware, flooding is already a way of life. Delaware is particularly vulnerable to sea level rise due to its low elevation and flat topography. In Sussex County, up to 56 percent of state park lands and 99 percent of tidal saltwater wetlands are projected to be inundated by 2100, depending on how much sea levels rise.
