Seagrass Beats Rainforests as Carbon Sink – Medium

Article Synopsis – New research shows that seagrass forests are highly efficient carbon dioxide sinks, second only to tundras for their ability to remove and store carbon dioxide. Rainforests are fifth on the list of most efficient ecosystems for removing and storing carbon.
