Sea Levels may Rise More Rapidly due to Greenland Ice Melt – The Guardian

Article Synopsis – According to the most comprehensive study to date, meltwater runoff from Greenland’s ice sheets are increasing exponentially, which could mean sea levels will rise higher sooner. Greenland currently contributes about 20% of global sea-level rise. If all the ice in Greenland melted, it would raise sea levels by seven meters (~23 ft). To read the actual article click here.
