Article Synopsis – A new study shows ice sheet losses in Greenland and Antarctica are tracking the worst-case scenario sea level rise models. If these rates continue, the ice sheets alone could add an additional 17 cm of sea level rise by the end of the century, which is enough to “double the frequency of storm-surge flooding in many of the world’s largest coastal cities.” To read the actual article click here
