Scientists Looked at Sea Levels 125,000 Years in the Past. The Results are Terrifying – The Conversation

Article Synopsis – According to new research, sea levels rose 10 meters (33 ft) during Earth’s last warm period 125,000 years ago when temperatures were 1℃ higher than today. This research shows that the Antarctic ice sheets can change much more quickly than previously thought, and could be a glimpse of things to come as current temperatures continue to rise.
