With the impacts of climate change and rising oceans, we have had the 1989 Loma Prieta quake, 2004 SW Pacific, and now the 2011 Japan quake. Coincidence perhaps, any geologic instability caused by rising oceans is not supported by local science, as how can you measure this? Doing a search, I find little or nothing but this thread.
