Norfolk students help to battle sea level rise by partnering with Elizabeth River Project – The Virginian Pilot

norfolk-91419_1920Article Synopsis – To solve problems caused by Hampton Roads’ rising sea level, the Elizabeth River Project has asked for help from area students. The area around Virginia Beach is particularly vulnerable to sea level rise due to pumping of ground water for industry and public use. Using an environmental literacy grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the organization will teach local students about thriving despite the rising sea level. To read the actual article click here.
