Article Synopsis – While partisans argue over climate change, military leaders in South Carolina are preparing for rising sea levels that threaten coastal installations. They are building a seawall around Parris Island, are dealing with flooded streets around their coast guard stations in Charleston, and erosion of their runways at the Marine Corp Air Station in Beaufort. According to retired Marine Brig. Gen.
