Article Synopsis – Tropical storm Emily dumped 4 to 7 inches of rain in the Miami area earlier this week causing roads to close and delays at area airports. NOAA is predicting 2017 will be a worse-than-average hurricane season, with between 11 and 17 named storms, including two to four major hurricanes.
