Article Synopsis – A coalition of U.S. states, cities, and businesses, representing more than half of the U.S. economy, have pledged to cut their fossil-fuel emissions to ensure the U.S. meets its commitment under the Paris Climate Agreement. If the “We Are Still In” coalition were its own country, it would be the world’s third-largest economy. While the coalition had a pavilion at the climate change conference in Bonn, Germany this week, officials from the U.S. government were inside the event promoting coal and natural gas use.
