Half of U.S. Spending Power Behind Paris Climate Agreement – National Geographic

Article Synopsis – A coalition of U.S. states, cities, and businesses, representing more than half of the U.S. economy, have pledged to cut their fossil-fuel emissions to ensure the U.S. meets its commitment under the Paris Climate Agreement. If the “We Are Still In” coalition were its own country, it would be the world’s third-largest economy.
