Expert: Rapidly rising sea levels could have dramatic effect on RI, MA coastline – WPRI

Article Synopsis – A new report from NOAA is projecting nine to eleven feet of sea level rise for Rhode Island by 2100. The impacts could be devastating. By 2050, 13 squares miles could be permanently under water. The risks are high not just with sea level rise itself, but with flooding during high tides, increased storms, and amplified storm surges.
