Article Synopsis – New research that maps economic and social development to climate models has “determined that the poorest populations on the planet will experience more perceptible climate change than the richest. It’s harder for people to overcome disasters in regions without the resources and infrastructure that are plentiful in wealthier parts of the world”. Researchers at Oxford also concluded this week that phasing out vehicle emissions will not be enough to meet Paris Climate Agreement targets. To read the actual article click here
