Article Synopsis – Due to rising ocean temperatures caused by global warming, over the past thirty years, roughly half of the world’s coral has died. In 2016 alone, we lost almost 30% of the Great Barrier Reef. Corals are highly sensitive to temperature and pH levels. Just a small rise in temperature can be fatal for corals.
