Article Synopsis – As California is ravaged by its first wintertime megafire in history, rare snowflakes are falling in Houston- all made possible by a truly extreme weather pattern; it’s difficult to find the words to adequately describe how weird this is. It’s rare that the dissonance of climate change is this visceral. For years, climate scientists have warned us that California was entering a year-round fire regime.
