Article Synopsis – As Miami Beach begins new infrastructure projects designed to protect against sea level rise, some residents are worried the changes might impact property values. In particular, the residents are concerned that elevated roads will cause neighborhoods to flood, which the city denies. According to City Commissioner Ricky Arriola, “We will have to have the political will to make unpopular decisions.
