We see this quite differently. Your points about the growth of coastal lands do not at all refute that the glaciers and ice sheets are melting and hold tens of feet of sea level rise; in fact hundreds. I am not going to debate this with you as you persist in your view and I am clear with mine. My position is consistent with the latest US Government assessment, the IPCC, and every major science organization in the world. We will just have to disagree. For example, calculate the melt water addition to sea levels from the Antarctic ice sheet for recent decades using this same &quot;530%&quot; increase paper.  What percentage of the ice sheet melted?

It may be encouraging to read what scientists have found and published in the peer-reviewed literature about the stability of the coasts, which are &quot;growing all over the world&quot; instead of shrinking due to sea level rise.  As mentioned previously, climate change and glacier melt does not exert dominant control over relative sea level.  Uplift and subsidence, geophysical processes, do.
