Article Synopsis – Scientists have been investigating extreme measures to prevent the collapse of the Antarctic Ice Sheet, though they caution that such measures are not actually feasible. Some of these ideas include pumping sea water onto the ice sheet and “building an island to stop the flow of the ice shelf”.
