Before They Disappear: Treasured UNESCO Sites at Risk from Climate Change – CNN

Article Synopsis – Many of the world’s most beloved sites on UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites list are at risk from damage or destruction caused by climate change. According to the IUCN, “one in four natural World Heritage sites is highly threatened by climate change”. Some of the most threatened on the list include Venice, the Great Barrier Reef, Easter Island, Greenland’s Ilulissat Icefjord, Yellowstone National Park, and the Galapagos Islands. To read the actual article click here
