National Parks Bear the Brunt of Climate Change – Science Daily

Article Synopsis – Many of our most beloved national parks happen to be in extreme environments, which makes them more susceptible to the effects of climate change than the rest of the country. A new study “reveals that over the past century, average temperatures in national parks increased at twice the rate as the rest of the nation and yearly rainfall decreased more in national parks than in other regions of the country”.
