Article Synopsis – Over the past week, numerous locations all across the Northern Hemisphere have experienced their hottest weather ever recorded. The heat has been blamed for at least 33 deaths so far in southern Quebec alone. In Northern Siberia, along the coast of the Arctic Ocean, temperatures rose to over 90 degrees- 40 degrees above normal. “These heat records are consistent with the kind of extremes we expect to see increase in a warming world”. To read the actual article click here
