Article Synopsis – At least six people were killed when a violent storm caused trees to crash down on roads, homes and other buildings along the East Coast on Friday. Nearly two million people lost power and 3,200 flights were canceled.
My Comment – Just two months ago, the Boston area was clobbered by a “bomb-cyclone” – a “100 year storm event.” This super Nor’easter “Riley” was also a “100 year storm.” We need to start acknowledging that these events are becoming more and more frequent. To read the actual article click here
