Article Synopsis – Cape Town, South Africa is currently experiencing the worst drought in recorded history that could see it become the first city in the world to run out of water due to climate change. The city is edging closer to a day – known locally as “Day Zero” – when supplies will be so low authorities will have to cut off water to three quarters of the population. It is currently expected on July 9.
