Climate Change Just Broke a NOAA Algorithm – CNN
Article Synopsis – Climate change in the Northern Arctic is happening so quickly it has broken one of NOAA’s data-correcting algorithms. The algorithms are in place to prevent data from being contaminated and remove any outliers. The temperatures in Utqiaġvik, Alaska were so warm for November, the algorithm threw out the data for the entire month.
