Think fighting climate change is expensive? Ignoring it costs more – Syracuse

Article Synopsis – Those of us who accept that science is real must have the courage to acknowledge that the costs of mitigating and adapting to climate change will be high. The path we are on leads to ad hoc, yet massive, expenditures to simply maintain the services we have come to expect. A carbon fee of the kind advocated by the Citizens Climate Lobby would level the playing field between dirty and cleaner forms of energy, spurring technological innovation that will create millions of jobs.
