Article Synopsis – We have a tendency to ignore events that seem to be in the distant future, but the legacy of our generation should be to leave a better planet for our children- we are failing. By the end of this century, sea levels will rise; millions of people will be displaced; there will be increased drought, storms, and heat waves; increased disease transmission; widespread famine; ocean dead zones, and other natural disasters.
