Article Synopsis – With the growing awareness of sea level rise, coastal states, counties and waterfront communities have begun to swing into action with “resilience” plans that often mix regulation, zoning and construction projects. According to one NOAA study, about half of all states with coastal exposure have created agencies to specifically study and suggest remedies for sea-level rise.
