Article Synopsis – As greenhouse gases boost temperatures across the globe, rare pathogens from hotter parts of the planet are now creeping toward the poles, creating new risks for people. The threats don’t only come from mosquito-borne diseases, but from rodents, bacteria, viruses, funguses, and even amoebas.
