Article Synopsis – A new study has shown that homeowners don’t believe their homes are at risk of sea level rise, even when shown flood maps that prove it. Although “party identification was the strongest predictor of general perceptions of climate change and sea-level rise, the majority of homeowners denied that there was risk to their property values, regardless of political affiliation”.
