Article Synopsis – As many as 20 North Carolina communities could be submerged by sea water in the next 15 years, according to a new report on sea level rise. The report, created by the Union of Concerned Scientists, looked at three sea level rise scenarios: low, intermediate and high, based on predicted carbon emissions through the end of the century.
